GS Carolina was founded in May, 2001 by its principals, David Guy and Tom Scott. It began as a small entrepreneurial venture with a few projects in Charlotte, NC and has grown into a larger, well-known and respected private company within the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. GS Carolina is a separate subsidiary of GS Companies. GS Carolina consists of a variety of master planned and mixed use communities ranging in size from 72 acres to over 1,000 acres. Each community is planned creatively and efficiently by a team of professionals with a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences.
